If you are interested in participating in Euromillions, it will be important for you to know how much Euromillions is today. We are talking about the jackpot amount, of course. On our website, you can see all the jackpots and their sizes. The current amount will always be updated. To inform you about today’s jackpot for Euromillions, we have inserted a dynamic banner below. I will always show the current size of the Euromillions’ jackpot.
What is also important for you to know is that the amount that you can actually win may be even higher than that amount, because the final payout also depends on how many tickets are bought for the next draw. Parts of those ticket sales will also go into the jackpot, so you may end up winning even more!
Can I play even if Euromillions tickets are not for sale in my country?
That is what we are all about! If you can go to your lotto shop and buy tickets for that lottery there, then you do not need an online lottery ticket service. Our online service enables you to get tickets for lotteries from other countries. Let’s say you would like to participate in Euromillions. There are many good reasons to do that – first, the odds of winning are quite good, and second, the jackpot often enough is higher than any other lottery in the world.
If you play online, it does not matter what country you live in. As long as you have the means to pay online, you can get a ticket for Euromillions (or one of the other lotteries that we offer this service for). The easiest way to pay is a Visa or Mastercard, but there are many more options available.
What is the growth rate per draw for Euromillions?
Euromillions draws take place twice a week (Tuesdays and Fridays), and usually, with every draw where it is not won, the jackpot increases by an amount which is between 6 and 10 million euros. For obvious reasons, the increases tend to be lower when the jackpot is low, and they get larger once the threshold of 100 million euros has been surpassed.
How large can the Euromillions jackpot grow?
The maximum jackpot for Euromillions is € 190 million. That is where a cap rule comes into play. Unless it is won, it stays at €190 million, and all funds from further ticket sales that would have been added to the jackpot, go into the second-tier prize. That, of course, significantly increases your chances of winning a big amount.
And it gets even better: Once the capped amount is reached, there will be up to four more draws. But if the jackpot has not been won then, in the fifth draw, somebody will definitely win it. And here’s the beauty of this rule: If nobody has all 5 numbers and the two extra numbers correctly, then it is good enough to have 5 plus one matching number. And since that combination often enough finds no winning ticket, you may even win a share of the jackpot with just five matching numbers!
Of course, in this case, there is a good chance that you have to share that jackpot with maybe a dozen other players. But I am sure you would not mind that because sharing the capped amount with ten other lucky winners would mean that you still receive a share of €19 million.
So, check today’s Euromillions jackpot amount, compare it to the other international lotteries and then get started and get your ticket!
